How could I have been so careless to dedicate a day to the people who shaped me without having any good intentions – and not mention those who supported me so well?
There have been so many people who have made me become the person I am today, and I want to thank you today!
First of all I say thank you to my parents and grandparents who have given me so much love & warmth, and literarily did everything for me. I always got all support I could ever think of throughout my whole life until to this day. Where would I be without their care and generosity?
Thank you to all other family members. The strong family bonds were so natural to me, that I did not appreciate them at all times. Only later, when I learned how relatives treat each other in some other families, I started to value the care and the mutual support within our “clan”.
Thank you to all the close friends I got to know. How I enjoy our conversations, stupid things we do, and how I appreciate you being there for me in the worst times of my life. I value the friends of today as much as those who have disappeared in the mists of the past.
Thank you to those teachers and mentors in my life. Those who have passed on their knowledge and wisdom, those who contributed to form my set of values and beliefs, and who gave me a better understanding of how the world functions.
Thanks to a special person in my life, who helped where friends could no longer help, and who encouraged me to pursue my true purpose in life.
Finally thanks to all the writers and authors who contributed to my life unknowingly, whose books and articles made me acquire knowledge and wisdom, or just made me escape into dream worlds to recharge my batteries.
You all shaped me, made me become who I am today, and I genuinely appreciate you for being there.
When was the last time YOU interrupted your daily routine, and took some minutes to reflect who you can be grateful for? Do it, and pay attention to what will happen. I promise you will notice some change…
